Privacy Policy
Interra Information Technologies Inc. is sensitive to privacy issues on the internet and in general, the User can visit InterraIT website without disclosing any personal information. There are times, however, when InterraIT may request the User to provide information including personal details like name, email address, telephone number, company name etc. The User is at liberty to respond or not to respond to these inquiries and any all information provided by the User is strictly voluntary.
Collection of User's personal information for business reasons
InterraIT may use personal information provided by the User to
- Correspond with User for business reasons including response to business information requests made by the User
- Invite feedback from User on the business related information on the site, so that the User can be served better
- Inform User of new services, products, alliances etc.
Sharing of Personal Information of User with third parties
InterraIT does not share, sell or lease personal information about the User with other people or nonaffiliated companies except to provide products or services requested by the User, when it has the permission of the user, or under the following circumstances:
- InterraIT may provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with InterraIT under extremely strict confidentiality agreements. These companies may use the User's personal information to help InterraIT communicate with the User about offers from InterraIT and its partners. However, these companies do not have any independent right to share this information.
- InterraIT may have to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise legal rights or defend against legal claims;
- InterraIT believes it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, or as otherwise required by law.
- InterraIT may have to transfer information about the User if InterraIT is acquired by or merged with another company.
Collecting information for User to download white papers or brochures
The User may choose to furnish personal information that may be mandatorily needed, for example, to correspond with the User or to download white papers or brochures on the site. InterraIT intends to protect the quality and integrity of the User’s personally identifiable information. InterraIT shall make a sincere effort to respond in a timely manner to the User’s requests to correct inaccuracies or change in personal information.
Cookies, and other technologies
InterraIT may sometimes collect anonymous information from visits to the site to help provide better customer service. For example, the domains from which people visit can be tracked and visitor activity on site be measured. InterraIT may use this data to analyze trends and statistics and to help provide better customer service. InterraIT maintains the highest levels of confidentiality for this information. None of this information is reviewed at an individual level. If the User does not want the transaction details to be used in this manner, the User can either disable cookies or opt-out at the download or request page.
AntiSpam policy
InterraIT recognizes the receipt, transmission or distribution of spam emails (unsolicited bulk emails) as a major concern and has taken reasonable measures, to minimize the transmission and effect of spam emails in its computing environment. All emails received by InterraIT, are subject to spam check, and any email identified as spam will be rejected, wherever possible, with sufficient information to the Sender. With this measure, along with other technical spam reduction measures, InterraIT hopes to minimize the effect of spam emails. InterraIT reserves the right to reject and/or report any suspicious spam emails, to the authorities concerned, for necessary action, from time to time.
