The API development is being done using Serverless Framework (Lambda, API Gateway and DynamoDB) was automated using AWS – DevOps services for managing, operating and analyzing Smart Home Appliances for both backend (Node.js) and frontend (Angular.js).

The entire deployment cycle for each of the environments i.e. Dev, Stage, and Production have come down to 1 hour.

The deployment framework was standardized around DevOps framework which has minimized the chances of human errors significantly.

As part of the DevOps implementation in the project, we have used the following AWS services: CodePipeline (Orchestration), CodeBuild (Build), CloudFormation (Infra as Code), Linux shell-script with Serverless computing.
