InterraIT was recently invited to join a national skill development workshop organized by E&M Global and HRIT group of institutions at Ghaziabad. HRIT has a conglomeration of engineering, management, pharma, technological colleges and E&M Global is into human resource skilling and deployment in India, gulf countries and US.
Hon’ble Union Minister MSME ShriKalraj Mishra inaugurated a skill development centre there and presided over the workshop. The minister addressed the gathering for about 45 min on the GOI’s initiatives to develop skills for the youth and how to leverage them to create a dynamic young entrepreneurial youth in India.
Swati De represented InterraIT and presented her thoughts on the necessity to cope with the challenges in present global scenario. She spoke of a new concept, VUCA ( vulnerability, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity) standing for the primary challenge before the youth preparing for the marketplace and the livelihood. Her address was hugely appreciated by the audience.
Other speakers included Head HR IBM and other senior management people from various verticals like construction, e commerce, pharma, engineering, automobile etc.
The audience comprised not merely industry leaders but the institute faculty and students along with a large number of invitees from other management colleges and professional forums.
